Came here looking for info on recording with the module. There's nothing in this video that isn't on the website. Why wouldn't you ask the real questions we actually want to know? Like, can we adjust individual pad notes? Can we adjust velocity? Are those adjustments available on the Pro? No channel has info on any of the number of kits on the market and it prevents me from upgrading my DTX500 - which desperately needs an upgrade. So dissapointed.

Would you say the oak has more punch than the classic maples? Would you also say what you gain in punch you loose in low-end? From what I am hearing they have AMAZING punch without losing the low-end.

I absolutely love this hi hat range, I own the exact same spec hi hats, I can't say enough about how great they are, they sound absolutely fantastic, they really cut through without being sharp, they're really warm sounding and have that sound edge or mastersound crimping to the edges so they wash so well when choked, thanks very much Mr Jimbo!! 💙 Great channel and shop btw guy's. I think it's prudent to play hi hats with the bottom on top, usually cymbal makers use less material on the top hi hat making them prone to cracks and earlier damaged compared to the bottom half of the pair, so not a bad idea to play them upside down. Something I've done for a while, works especially well if you're a hard hitter or playing rock music or other high volume music. Guitarists taken into account as well of course. 😁

Can’t imagine why anyone would choose a Roland over this. The drum sounds are so amazing and Roland is so horrible. I have a Roland and have tried all of them now and their sounds are bad compared to every brand out there. Roland is living off of their name. People are afraid of electric kits because they wear our and break. It’s the number 1 fear when you spend this much money Acoustic kits are not like that. All you care about is sound Drummers will buy used 40 year old acoustic in a hard beat, because they last forever and when they have issues it’s cheap to fix them. People feel safe with Roland. Other than that, Yamaha, Pearl and Alesis blows them out of the water

So much to unpack from this video. Thank you Graham Russel drums for putting this on and too Pete Ray Biggin for playing so immaculately, powerfully but with ease and poise. Firstly the set up of the kit seems to be a through back to 80’s / 90’s kit set up The height of the cymbals especially. So much space around the kit. The hi hat and snare are tight but the toms, left hand percussion are spaced to give breathing room. I think that modern kits are low level and tight around player. I notice Petes body motion seems totally relaxed but can easily access any part of the kit as he chooses, he never looks hunched or leaning to get to anything. His shoulders seem level and relaxed. Any part of the kit can be reached without thinking about it. He has more drum, flow, style, power, precision, grace and elegance around the kit in a few bars than I have playing a whole night with my band. I’m 53 and this reminds me of drum clinics from the 90’s. I player leaning into a song and giving moments of aww while still laying it down. The way he plays around with any part of the kit that he chooses then brings it all back with the snare and hi hat chock at 1 min 32 is sublime. I’m just a weekend warrior in the kit that has lost his way in the last few years. This has brought it all back with a massive smile. Thank you so much for posting this.

Does anyone know why mesh heads on the snare won't give us positional sensing? That's what I've heard.
